Georgie Tunny is an Anchor and Field Reporter for The Project on Network 10. With her infectious energy and sharp wit, she has become a beloved fixture on the show, offering engaging commentary on current events and social issues. Georgie’s journalism career has spanned the spectrum from weather presenter, sports reporter to interviewing A-list celebrities including Michael Douglas, Tom Cruise, Max Verstappen and Ed Sheeran.
Georgie Tunny is co-host of Two Good Sports, on the iHeart network, a weekly sports report with co-host Abbey Gelmi, and Ready For It podcasts.
Georgie has hosted Network 10’s Melbourne Cup Carnival and a Saturday night series The Brighter Side.
Georgie Tunny started her Journalism career with the ABC where she was part of the ABC News Breakfast’s presenting team for four years. She took on roles as Sport Presenter, Weather Presenter and as Co-Host during the 2020 Bushfire emergency coverage and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021-2022 Georgie was the host of daily News Flash segments on Foxtel’s news streaming service Flash
Her passion for sport saw her work also as a Reporter and Producer for ABC Melbourne radio and television. She was the Executive Producer of sports show Offsiders: Summer Series on the ABC.
2024 will see Georgie Tunny make her debut as an author with a book to be published by Allen & Unwin.
