ACTOR
Born in Hong Kong, Richard spent over 18 years deeply immersed in the Hong Kong Chinese culture before moving to Australia in 1994.
Training at Melbourne’s National Theatre and graduating in 1999, Richard went on to appear in many local and overseas film and television productions – both in supporting and leading roles. His credits include Catching Milat, Fat Tony & Co, Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, The Straits, East West 101, Rush, Noise, Neighbours, Underbelly: Squizzy, Upgrade, The Pacific, The Last Full Measure and Wolf Creek, the TV series.
One highlight in particular, was the dramatic series Killing Time, for which he won the 2012 AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actor in a television drama.
Richard is a long standing member of Melbourne’s independent ensemble company Red Stitch Actors Theatre.
